The location proved convenient for exploring. I found a large, affordable public car park directly across from the hotel entrance. The swimming pool and gym were accessible every day and provided excellent facilities for workouts. The breakfast offered a wonderful range of high-quality options, and I especially enjoyed the omelette station.
The room had a streetlight directly outside the window. The light made the room quite bright even with the curtains drawn. This did impact sleep quality .

charmed stay near the ferries

i was charmed by the junior suite and its very nice view. the second room we got had a large bathroom and a nice bath tube, as displayed in the room photos. the room was quiet and clean, and i appreciated the available saunas. the location proved ideal as we needed to catch the ferry to strömstad early the next morning.
the bed was too stiff and hard, just a super thin mattress on top of a hardwood frame it seemed. my camping place from last year had much better beds.

a stay with a few minor issues

the breakfast buffet offered a wide selection of food.
The casting feature on the tv did not work, no matter what i tried. the room seemed a bit dusty, and there were yellow stains on the bathroom ceiling. also, the bed was too firm. It reminded me of a thin mattress on a hard frame.
